hi guys, is there a mod or a one under development, with tracers effects for the AAGuns firing?
now, one can see only the vapor trails left by the bullets, think not so that realistic.

Um... I dont know why but most of my AA's have tracers... mostly ships. I dont think that AA on land had tracers. Look at old movies.

Hi! From ships sure they have, and I have in game; from land, in my experience (and talking about the game now) not.
That is quite strange because, in old movies I did see tracers from AA guns! And why not, they deserved the same purpose
a those used by planes: helping leadin the fire towards enemies.

Yes, there is a mod for ship tracers, but I do not remember who created it.

Actually, gentlemen, the land AAA does have tracers. They are just a different color than the ship tracers. Depending on the type of AAA gun used, the colors will be different. The most common land AAA color is blue, which makes them hard to see.

PS to Grant: you are certainly right but they should be almost invisible or my install does not work.... I see very well the vapor trails but the tracers, as said, not at all

A friend of mine is working on seperating the relevent tracer files. This will mean that the tracer for the AAA guns will be able to be edited without affecting some of the guns on some planes This will be very useful.
There are different types of AAA guns. Ones that use the same texture as the guns on, say, a 109-E will use the same file and then others use the 20mm file. I am remembering off the top of my head, but I think i am correct in saying this
