LOL!

While on the subject..

Anyone thinking of getting a Logitec G940?

My advice..

DONT!!

I got one and it is the worst $300 I ever spent on a JS!!

If you have one..

And you have been blaiming yourself for your bad aim jerky rudders and ham fisted sliders..

As I was for months

Know now that it is NOT you it is your $300 POS Joystick!

Here is a link that you may want to read up on

http://forums.logitech.com/t5/PC-Gaming ... d-p/447921

Long story short the R1 and R2 wheel sliders are VERY NOISY!! And the Rudders have a spike reversal problem and the joystick itslef has alot of slopp around center

Logitec thought thier last firmware update would fix these problems by they didn't

Now the Logitec support folks are no where to be found even on thier own support forum

So buyer beware

Boy, I left that one WIDE open! Better take care of that louse crawling around up in the left corner! Damn good thing I didn't say Cock pit, or would that imply a completely different anatomical part of the body.

As for the G940 , much of what you tell is accurate, but alas I must adapt until I can scrounge up enough money for something else. What I did not not know was that there were fixes that don't work and that the "help" scampered away when the fixes didn't work. So thanx for the heads up. I won't bother. The Saitek X-52 was the best and still is. How are the pedals?

True.. but chances are in RadPig's case it might be so small that it would have blended in with the background such that we wouldn't be able to make it out! Wink (J/K Rad!)

The G940 is a package consisting of the joystick, throttle, and rudders.. You can not use one without the other, they all plug in as one

And the rudders are the worst of all..

The noise aka reversal spike is so bad that it will just about put you into a spin.. Nothing worse that linking up a target.. and you add a little rudder to center up your aim when all of a sudden it is like someone applied FULL RUDDER!
