Almost two months ago, a major and unknown problem arose with my IL-2 1946 game. When i would load a quick mission it would flicker while loading to 100%, and once it loaded the screen would flash and then go black and say "MISSION FAILED" and "player killed." If i try to load a normal mission, while in briefing, the map would not appear but just keep flickering in a brownish color where the maps details were. If i load a normal mission it will flicker upon loading to 100%, show the cockpit view, and then just freeze up. As i said before this is an unknown crash and I'm not sure how to solve it.

Disable all mods, then enable them one at the time to see which one conflicts with some of the others.
Re-install IL-2. I always do it that way.

It would help to know what version of the game you have.
4.09M or one of the mods packs. HSFX or UP.
