I can't see it,that's what I think.I'm not trying to make you feel bad, your screen shot is just to dark to see what your skin looks like.

I took the liberty of taking a screenshot at daylight:

Looks like you have some more work to do, haven't you?
I know, fuselage camo on the in-game '109 could be disappointing sometimes, but that's a mile you gotta walk, kid! Smile
But judging from the rest, you're on the right way. 8)

What template (if ever) did you use? Is it from scratch? Please, next time, provide us with a clearer screenshot a *little* more info.

Its passable for a first skin well done Smile

Seeing you are using gimp you can use ready made templates to either make your skins or learn from to improve your own skills

http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/forums/ ... -series-5/

the above link is a pretty good place to start and theres a nice 109 template in there by Jesters ink, theres also templates around at http://www.mission4today.com/index.php? ... oads2&c=61 and http://www.flightsimfiles.com/

as for the mottle on a 109 or any Luftwaffe Fighter, I cant say for Gimp but Photoshop has some nice default spray type brushes to use, simple put some patches on and then blur them for effect.
You may want to use an eraser with another spray brush to tidy up areas and then blur again to finish.

hope that makes sense Smile
