Hi,

I downloaded the jeep and kübelwagen od from SAS http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,2706.0.html. But my game crashes at 60%? What have did wrong? I use UP 2.01, The location where i put every thing in C:/program files/Il2 Sturmovik 1946/files (I don't know or this is important but whatever)

I just putted the lines in the ...files/com/maddox/ air.ini and ...files/i18n plane_ru.properties, added the plane and cockpit files in .../files/3do.

Could it be because i haven't installed the DiffFM :-?

Ah yes, I remember the problem. I think all you can do is set the the waypoint to 'takeoff'. Somehow the mod seems to have a 'retractable undercarriage'! hock:

And by the way, be careful going too fast, it can do odd things. And don't drive into tight corners, you've got no reverse gear. Remember, this mod is just a bit of fun, don't expect too much from it.

Is it also normal i cant go onto bridges?

This is indeed one of the most 'wierd' :roll: mods in il 2. You can even airstart with jeeps hock: and it has wipers for in the rain 8) :!:

Yeah, try to go over a bridge and you'll blow up. Stay well away from trees too - I think the collision modelling is a bit off there. I'd forgotten, but you can use the 'scramble' option in the QMB to start with too. If you use the Bessarabia map and start as Allied, you've got a nice trip down to Odessa - Head due east once you're out of the base.

I'd not noticed the windscreen wipers...
