As you probably know, it's now called Commemorative Air Force. The group had to make a subtle name change and be politically correct so as not to offend anybody. Still CAF though.

Those must be some really old photos. I don't recall seeing any of those paint jobs as long as I've seen those birds.

There probably are some Confederate skins around somewhere for fictional missions. Maybe someone here will point you in the right direction for skins. You could also post in the "skins request" forum.
It will be interesting to see what some skins might look like.
