Do you sometimes play background music during combat? And, if so, which are your favourite themes? I know it's up to personal preferences, but surely there are some "classics" everybody likes.

Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I sometimes play this song during groundstrafing with FW190 or HS 129. I love to do this!
Fly the Mission until You start Youre Attakrun on the Groundtargets. When You Start the run, start to play the Music. Belive me, You will like it.
The Carmina Burana is also a nice Song. I love to play it in Background during hard Dogfights with Spitfires and Hurricanes!

Its also nice to do a highspeed Low Level Flight in HE162 or ME262 when the song "vision thing" from The Sisters of Mercy is Playing Loud in the Background.

Agree. I think that, somehow, orchestra themes are the best background for "ol' times" prop fighters battles. They add a lot of "drama"!

Other "modern" genres are maybe best suited for jet age, but might be appreciated in IL-2 as well.

I'm a guy of the consoles, I love playing games like HALO and Battlefeild (not Call Of Duty)
The Halo games come with a large variety of slow/emotive music to fast paced action/adrenaline music
They are not actual songs more like soundtracks but they are useful.
