Any One got Shogun Total War? If you have tell me what you think of it!

I have just started playing it again after many years lost. I have found IT

I brought it in 2001

It is a 2000 samurai game. The first total war game EVER
You can take command of many different clans during Senguko period.
Yoy get to assassinate Daimyos with Nijas and Geisha.
Ally with the Dutch and Portuguese

Good to here Shogun 2 Total War is on the way, big fan of Rome and Empire total war.

I prefer Age of Empires 2, but that looks interesting.

I'm a long time player of this and the original Medieval game. Civ sims like Age of Empires are pretty much all the same and to be honest, don't interest me at all. I like the Total War interface and the ease with which you can command an army in battle, even if I'm not very good at it

I prefer Age of Empires 2, but that looks interesting.

I haven't played Shogun Total War, but it looks like a classic- I know AoE2 is, I love that game!

But I'll definitely check out Shogun 2 Total War.

Yeah I liked AOE I, II and III and the Total war series and Empires Dawn of the Modern World :wink:

AOE is also quite good especialy Age Of Empire III with the two expansions packs

I still prefer the original one, but I'm still glad I pre-ordered Shogun 2.
