I have a very small but very annoying problem  Every time I press Ctrl C to copy my PC goes slow and when I move the mouse it lags so much it is only for a second at most but its is noticeable, it is also on every other key as well :x

I do not know what has coursed it but its is rather annoying.

Please help, Cheers

First and foremost,

SCAN YOUR SYSTEM!!!

Sounds like you may have caught something.
After that, if you find nothing, check to see what processes are running.

If all seems well, check for a driver update for your motherboard.
It's been my experience in the past that if there are no viri or malware on a system and nothing is tying up your processor, it's normally a bad driver/IRQ, DMA assisgnment for the the motherboard.

Thanks Jinxx, I scanned my syster, Norton Full Scan, nothing, not even a sausage!

I set up my old PC today as well and tested it with the same wires, and same Keybord and mouse as my PC has in now and it was still the same :-?

Not sure, I clean every part or the wires, blow into them ect ect, still the same, which is quite puzzling :-?
So I think it may be the mouse and keyboard, They are both wireless Logitech one's.

These are what processes I have currently running.

Thanks for your help Jinxx's much appreciated Smile

Planemad,

From looking at your processes, I'd have to take a guess and say it's the Logitech Wingman Scanner that's causing the issue.
There is a setting you can reset in the BIOS to release all the IRQ's and DMA's so that the BIOS and Windows can reassign them.

You may try that to see if it helps.
Also try killing a couple of the process you don't need running. (One at a time and then check results).

Sorry this doesn't mean much to me

Logitech Wingman Scanner - Is that Logitech Wingman even monitor?

And which ones shall I kill?

Try killing the following:

dwm.exe
EgisUpdate.exe
jusched.exe
LWEMon.exe
mwlDaemon.exe
ONENOTEM.exe
PMMUpdate.exe

If you have access to it, you could also try just running 'End it All'.
It was a small utility used to kill background processes.
If you don't have it, let me know and I'll host it for you.

Run your game with this: http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html It will kill unnecessary process that might be the cause of the problem. Then add a new process each time until you find the culprit.

Its not in the game, just everywhere, well yes in Il-2, CoH, Total war ect, but also on Microsoft Office as well.

@Jinxx - It seems to have done the trick for now

Will see if its the same tomorrow :|

Thanks for all your help

Anytime.

Just check those processes and see which one is causing the lag between the keyboard and mouse with the system.
When you find the culprit, we can work from there.
