hey,
i was wondering if anyone could help me. i recently purchased a new budget pc and i was wondering if you use the asus core unlocker to unlock the AMD phenom II X2 555 BE would you need a fan to keep the temp. down or is it fine not to have a fan. also if this is the case, can i go into the BIOS and then disable the core unlocker

Here is a list of my system specs, and as i said it is pretty budget stuff:

Proccessor: AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE
Mother board: Asus M4N68T-M
RAM: 4.00 GB Corsair (2x2gb)
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTS 450
PSU: 400W Xigmatek
Hard Drive: 500GB S-ATA
Case: Xigmatek Asgard

By the way this is for my nephew, we're giving him a surprise for his 15th b-day

Put a fan on it unless it's immersed in ice water.Remember the old saying if that computer part was you and it was 120 degrees outside wouldn't you be looking for air conditioning.

hey guys jus had one hell of a nite, i finally did enough research so that i could confiedently go into my BIOS and disable this core unlocker crap. oh yess, I am invincible!!!!

Now my nephew can have a great time playing on IL-2 COD without having to worry about screwing up his pc if he messes around with anything especially the core unlocker....

...phew!!
