Don't know if any one knows about this, but this free SAM simulator puts you in the position of a SAM crew for a variety of Soviet made SAM batteries. This simulator is about as hardcore as they come, your knowledge of the world outside your box comes from lights and displays, no magical 3d displays of your target or your missile in flight and oh dear god this is just Buttons, Switches, and Dials lol. So you must fight the urges to press any buttons at random lest you HARM yourself.
So to avoid harming one self you will need to do some reading or watch a few tutorials first, but once you have some idea what all the lights and blips mean you can recreate certain historical interceptions like the downing of an F-117 and the shooting down of the U-2 spyplane, among others.
As far as I know this is the only available SAM simulator out there.
Note: resolution must be at 1280x1024 to run.
