I have just installed QMB pro v 4.10 and have found that the player menu window opens upwards and off-screen.........is there a fix for this. Also there seems to be lots of maps now but many do not work.
Is there a fix for this as well??

For the first problem, you copy in the conf .ini file:
[Mods]
PALQMBLinesMap=18
PALQMBLinesPl0=18
PALQMBLinesPl1=18

PALQMBLinesPl5=18
PALQMBLinesPl6=18
PALQMBLinesPl7=18
Only work maps that you have previously installed.
Regarding maps previously installed, I am using HSFX5 with 4.101 so maps are there but they have different names....eg Philippines dlv is called ER Philippines, so presumably the game crashes because it cannot find the map that the mission file directs it to because it has a different name........if I change the lines at the beginning of the mission file to the correct map name, will it work then??

Yes, you can change the names of the maps, this information is in all.ini file.
C:\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 HSFX 5.0\Files\maps\
all.ini
For the map of Philippines:
dlv_Philippines/load.ini.
Sometimes the missions don't work, you receive the following error: "
Corrupt Data File".
