CoD & GeForce 9800?
#1

Hi dose any one have a GeForce 9800 and do they know if CoD will run on it???

Reason I'm asking is because I saw system spec's released by Oleg said that the 9800 was supported but then I saw another system spec's say it wasn't!

So a bit confused... :-?

System specs if it helps

----------
OS: Win 64 Pro
CPU: Intel i7 920 (@ 2800MHz)
RAM: 6 Gb (3x 2Gb DDR3 1066)
VGA: Geforce 9800 GT 512 Mb x 2
----------

PS: I know what the lettering (ie: GTX) means on the Nvidia cards, but what do the numbers mean (ie: 430 / 450 / 470 ect)?

The three digit numbers are the new serie of nVidia video cards when they ran out of 4-digit ones.

lol

So nVidia 470 = number 4 in the series of the new cards and the 70 just means a bit better then the 450 ???

Hello ! yes it works. I've got a 9800GTX+ and I'm able to play at about 30-40 fps on land, depending on the complexity of the area I'm flying, and with everithing set to LOW except the cockpit details (HIGH) and texture (HIGH). In my opinion the last one is required because the airfield textures are far less detailed than those of IL21946 and is difficult to estimate altitude during final approach (no matter to activate grass..).
