Farewell to an Icon.
#1

For those of you who are unaware or who may just be living under a rock computer and streams lost an icon today.
Steve Jobs was one of the founding members of Apple and passed away today from pancreatic cancer.
Without his vision and insight, many of the items that we take for granted today would not be around today.
The iPod, the personal computer many of which were attributed to Steve Jobs and his friend/partner Steve Wozniak.

Although most of us would never have the chance to meet Steve Jobs he has in some way touched all of our lives through his ideas and innovations.

He will be missed.

I'm in the IT Business for nearly 30 years now.
My first computer was an Apple II.
I know his name since then.
A man full of ideas and dreams...

He will be dearly missed.
Rest in Peace Steve!

Oh! What a sad loss!

Who knows how much more good that he could have done for humanity?

The very first computer which I used was an Apple in a classroom in the early 1980s.

Back when the company was in hard times a number of years ago, Apple stock prices were in the single digits and some people were saying that the Apple glory days were gone forever. I nearly bought a bunch of stock in the company then because I knew that Steve Jobs and his team would make a huge return to leading the technology industry. They did it!

It is sad that Steve could not come back from his final challenge.

Pray for his loved ones.
