Hi i've been playing IL2 now for quite some time and i know how to use landing gear, but for some reason, in few aircraft like the F4F i cannot get the landing gear to operate at all, either putting gear up after take off or lowering it to land...I am forced to use the autopilot button so the game is forced to lower gear, any help?

you'll need to bind a key for "Manual Gear Up" and "Manual Gear Down", you keep tapping the key until it is fully up or down
