Hey guys, ive downloaded HSFX 5.0 and the 5.01 Hotfix,downloaded and installed them both in my IL2 1946 4.10.1 Copy Folder,But my game doesnt say that HSFX 5.01 Is enabled but it is in the JSGME Moad Activator..nothing in IL2 Has changed.. all that has changed is ground hit dust from bullets when they hit the ground.. Help?

PS: No extra planes apear on the list, The background of the game is the same,it does NOT say HSFX On start up.. everything looks stock.. Sorry for the double post :c

Did you enable the HSFX Histo Mod?

Did you point the HSFX installer at the main folder of IL-2?

Yes i went in to jsgme and enabled it, and yes i installed it in my main il2 1946 Copy directory..

Is your install a Direct to Drive digital download version ?
(eg from Steam or similar.)

If so you need to install the Direct 2 Drive patch.

(to get hsfx or any mod variant working...(some other modpacks include it, we don't as its quite a hefty download.).

Details in the read me.

They have it at SAS under their essentials forum heading I believe.

Sorry that there is so much information on IL-2 to search - it can be tricky sometimes, but that's actually a good thing, huh?
