WOW... wow... that brings back a hell of a load of memories Sad Cry Cry   Cry Cry

AAA being the first forum I ever used, Il-2 the first game I modded,

When I joined Saturday the 21st of Feb, 2009 at 12:48 pm I never ever thought I would become an Admin.

AAA was a swell place, the Home of Il-2 Modding, a resource centre

Rad, thank you for sharing this :Smile)

I will try and find those threads on the pic

Cheers Rad, and yes please can you post more Big Grin

Aaahhh! Yes!

That sure does bring a flood of memories.

All Aircraft Arcade (AAA): The mother of many IL-2 modding efforts and websites, as well as untold inspiration for many other things.

AAA: The first very large and most cutting edge IL-2 website of that time and the mother of this website, too. Big Grin

Thanks, Radpig - yes, please post more!

The old AAA site was the place where modding IL2 all started in the Weston world.
Most anyone who is anything in modding IL2 today got their start at the old AAA site
That goes for the most of people from UP, SAS even TD, I still have all of the old AAA
Site forums on this AAS site in archive and out of public view as the links do not work
Anymore but all from the old AAA site still is here.

I remember seeing AAA before. At the time I was a mod n00b. By the time I was about to join... it went down Cry . But then the pheonix AAS rose from the ash.

Once upon a time in AAA, a hundred people conected at all times and new posts every minute. A world of ideas. An age of discussion. A Golden Age.
Think it's gone forever. Sometimes I feel like the ending of AAA signalized the twilight of the IL-2 era itself. Nothing is forever, and all dreams vanish...

Nope!

A dream only vanishes at the moment you give up!

So: "Hang tough, stay frosty and never give up dreaming!"

Every day I still find something new in the world of IL2 - I truly love this dream.
