I'm making something. I need opinions on how this is going. I'm using Sony Vegas 9.0. I'm still trying to find the best filters and best rendering quality. Below are 3 videos I have rendered. 2 of them are a before and after clips. and 3rd one is just random dogfight. I'm trying to make it look Noir, Cartoon, and Comic Book at the same time.

Even if I am not a filmmaker, I would like to say I like the contrast you used. It's really looks like the first colored films.

The test #3 and the dogfight look good. I'd say that you are doing well with the film making.

Only as a suggestion in films with a variety of lighting conditions, keep in mind the weather and where the sun is in the sky. I have found that I needed to adjust brightness and contrast once in a while to get more realistic appearance. ( It is a matter of opinion and personal preference, of course. ) The videos which you posted there look fine as they are but I offer suggestion for future things.
