Hi Ted,

I'm just asking into the blue, I'm not sure at all - but isn't this the bird who already had a crash landing? Confusedhock: Cry
I've got something way back in my brain.. it was some Focke-Wulf....

P.S. It was a FW-190 A8/N, flown by pilot Marc "Leon" Mathis, on June, 12th. 2010 near the coast of Toulon.
Sorry for the confusion!

Hi Jambo,

The 190 wich crashed in 2010 near Toulon, was the "Black 1", F-AZJJ, that you can see here at La Ferté Alais Airshow. She was 1,50m under water. Here you will find some pics of the operation to take her back.
They wanted her to fly back, but I found nothing about that...

The FW190 that flown on October 2011 seems like to be located into the USA, so I don't think it the same bird.

Cheers, Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Sweet! Big Grin

Now that is how an FW should sound in a simulator! I could sense the great power in watching it climb from the runway. Once the landing gear was retracted, it really climbed fast. It looked very table in flight.

I am happy to see this.

Thank you, LeBigTed, for posting it.
