Here is a new map for DBW 1.71:
It is called ag_Suomussalmi and it cover large area of Finlands middleparts. Germans and Finland fougt a War which we Finns called Lapland War right after peace with USSR at autumn 1944.
This is a good map for early Lapland war
Also This map is good for Winterwar Missions.

map is ready. I will upload it as a beta.

unzip to:

Add thes lines to /IL2-Sturmovik/#DBW/MapMods/all.ini (text file):

ag_Suomussalmi ag_Suomussalmi/load.ini
ag_Suomussalmi_Autumn ag_Suomussalmi/load_Aut.ini
ag_Suomussalmi_Winter ag_Suomussalmi/load_Win.ini
ag_Suomussalmi_WinterHard ag_Suomussalmi/load_WinHard.ini


Of course, those who have earlier version needs only copy all the goodies from rar file...

Small bug found..
When using tree=3 in conf.ini trees are not showing at all..
Use tree =2 untill i found solution. I think that it is altered bush issue

The error with forest=3 is partly solved, Our autopop template did have some 3:rd party treeobjects..or maybe we have copy/paste them from other maps..
It is virtually not possible to find them since we don't have a decent debugger for java errors.
I'm not sure if i want to make this map from scratch since it is working ok. i will wait few days and publish it as it is, if there is no other errors.

Small update:
Jami from finland is currently adding historical airfields and labels plus some roads on the map. Map works flawlesly with HSFX nad UP/DBW 1.6 versions.
DBW 1.71 has issues with freezing water which means that all the planes sinks if using airbases on ice..
I recommend HSFX for this..
Summer maps works ok with all latest modpacks.
