Yes, this was a bit of a pain to sort out. In the maps folder make a folder called SandsOfTime. In it place:
vp-load.ini
vp_map_h.tga
vp_map_T.tga
In the all.ini file add:
vp_SandsOfTime SandsOfTime/vp_load.ini
In filelist.txt add:
maps/all.ini
maps/SandsOfTime/vp_load.ini
maps/SandsOfTime/vp_map_h.tga
maps/SandsOfTime/vp_map_T.tga
You can compare Online MT with SandsofTime to see VPMedia's new textures.
I like them a lot, but I wonder if they are really more realistic? Are they based on photographs or guesswork? I know Tunisia has a marshy zone near its main port and is a lot greener than people imagine, but are the foothills of the Atlas Mountains (in Algeria) really as green as Vps new textures?
