I would have hoped that if anyone read the whole thread that would be apparent.

Why do you ask? If it's because your looking for some "cloaking device" to increase you on-line tally then your talking to the wrong guy in the wrong shop.

If you want to test it out just say so and I'll pm you a link like I did for Phillip and Scharnhorst. I'm not keen on putting it forward as a mod until it's the way I want it...

Let me get something straight to you right now.

First off I am here .. asking questions because I want to know. Period. No hidden agenda... Secondly... I have no need whatsoever for any kind of "cloaking" device or anything like it. I really don't care about online points as I fly coops primarily and the only place where I keep track of stats at all is in our squadron campaigns which are private. I would rather go down in flames 9 times out of 10 knowing that the 1 is a GK gained from my own skill or my opponents lack thereof or any combination of the two.. This is the second time I have had to ask not to be insulted when I come here.. what is it with you folks.

Get off your high horse.... I may have opinions on modding that differ from yours, but I am here so that I may make a better informed choice on this whole issue. As I am sure most of you know, the primary concern with most folks who are opposed to modding in general is the capacity for online cheating.... (not that anyone here would do that... I am not saying or insinuating that ... but the potential for someone else who may not give a rat's @ss about the integrity of the sim or their own integrity for that matter. The term integrity is obviously meaningless to anyone who would use a mod to cheat in a competitive online venue.. flight sim or otherwise..) ... since I dont know much about these mods and I have not downloaded any of them the best way for me to find out about them is to go to the source and ask. I would certainly hope that I was not wasting my time by doing this.... I understand that some of you may be touchy to the subject... I also understand the modding and cheating are two different things... just like drinking and being an alcoholic are two different things... even though they are intimately related...

Let me know if I am just wasting my time here trying to initiate some kind of dialog in order to better understand what these mods are and what they do and I will jjust back off all together. Don't tell me to just download them and see,,, I downloaded googobs of mods for CFS... most of which were just a was6te of HD space... so this is my experience with mods and I am just trying to understand. I also don't need anyone making references to my UBI moderator status. In case you have not noticed.. this is not UBI and I am more than aware of that fact.

Not aimed at anyone in particular ...

Why don't all you trolls and anti everything people just go back to where you came from? You don't want the mod, you don't care for it, then why come here and start a stink? If you are against it and so uprighteous then why register for the website that hosts it? That makes all of you guilty by assosiation. Either be against it, and stay the hell out, or use it and shut your mouth. Quit riding both sides of the fence. Take a dump or get off the toilet. It is that simple. If the people on other forums don't want us over there telling and showing what can be done, then we don't want you over here. How old are you people? Act like it. [/RANT]

Well d@mn... I didnt see all that....

Wow..... So this is how you welcome new people to your boards with questions?? :?
