p.s. First post, Hello all
Welcome Fusek. I am assuming you are using DCG already and know a few of the basics :?:
Anyway, Go to your IL2 folder, your DCG folder and open DCG. Go to the "Aircraft class Settings Panel." It is the 2nd icon from the left on the top menu bar. It shows a black plane on a grey background. Once here, on the upper left find the aircraft list drop box. Open it and find the plane you want. After selecting the plane to edit, go to the upper middle collumn and change the box that says, "Flyable by players" from no to yes. You will need to do this for each and every AI flyable that has been given.
Now for step two. Go to your DGen folder in your game folder. Scroll down until you find a list of files that say, "CampaignDeF" or something. "CampaignXxX" Open these files to find what you want to edit. The campaign file should look like this:
* German Fighter Pilot in Western Europe (DCG)
Dynamic campaign for German fighter pilot over the Western Front using Full Auto-Generation Mode.
Poland39 Poland 1939
France40 France 1940
Britain40 Battle of Britain (Fictional Map)
Normandy41 Normandy 1941
Murmansk41 Murmansk 1941
Mediterranean41 Crete 1941 (Fictional Map)
Tobruk41 Tobruk 1941 (Fictional Map)
Normandy42 Normandy 1942
Tobruk43 Libya 1943 (Fictional Map)
MarethLine43 Mareth Line 1943
Italy43 Italy 1943
Germany44 Germany 1944
Hungary44 Hungary 1944
Normandy44 Normandy 1944
Norway44 Norway 1944
Ardennes44 Ardennes 1944
WestGermany45 West Germany 1945
Berlin Berlin 1945
Basically, this will tell you what campaign you are looking at. So if you were looking to add the Me110C to the France campaign, you would need to open the German fighter campaign. Once you have found the appropriate campaign file, open up the corresponding "PlanesXxX" file. So if the file is "CampaignDeF", open "PlanesDeF". In the planesDeF file you will see a list of maps in brackets and under them a list of planes. Simply add your plane to the list. See example below:
from
[France]
BF_109E4B
to
[France]
BF_109E4B
BF_110C4B
Now when you go into the game and start a new German fighter campaign, under the France map the Bf 110 is now flyable AND will work.
Hope this helps. If I lost you, let me know, if you have questions, let me know.
Cheers! [/b][/i]
