IL-2 community - a code of conduct needed
#4

Well, I think he is talking about a code of conduct for members to agree to when they sign up as a member of this site to disparage all possible tampering with Flight and Damage models but I guess we will have to wait till he sleeps it off to be sure. Smile

Msalma, just poking a little fun at ya, no offense intented and I hope the hangover is mild....

I think a more effective idea would be for you guys who run this site to Sticky and lock some sort of "Intents and Purposes" statement at the top of this forum.

We here know your goals do not involve enhancing Flight or Damage models but a highly visible statement of intent, which is not uncommon on websites, might reduce some of the hostility shown AAA on some other IL2 community websites.

When I first came here I looked for such a statement but found none and, given the controversy surrounding this place, wondered why.

I am beginning to feel a little aprehension as I look around on different areas of the site and fear an oncoming avalanche of things that might bury this site under a cloud layer so deep that we could never rise above it.

I will not go into detail with my misgivings here, it would lead this topic way off course but I do think, LtWolf, that you and the others running this site might be well served by such a statement of intent.

And, while I am here, thanks MrJolly for the amazing amount of work you are doing to make formerly AI only planes available to us all.
