IL-2 community - a code of conduct needed
#8

Top of the morning to ya gents!

After a brief damage assessment I'm happy to report that the hangover actually passed me by for the most part - a nippy head, surely, but that's pretty much all! Yeah, one does get lucky occasionally 8)

But concerning the original post: sure it was a drunken & soppy can't-we-all-just-get-along kind of thing, and thus probably not worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize Wink Big Grin But I still see this rift between you modders and us conservatives as an unneeded one for the most part, because hey, the real cheaters surely are few and far between - and I'm pretty sure none of them f.ex. call this board home. And yes, OK, I was perhaps a bit hasty when talking about drawing up a code of conduct of some sort, because I really don't know how to even begin in tackling a task that huge! So yeah, strike that please, and let's NOT let the beer do the talking from now on 8)

But still something should be done IMO, because things as they stand now are good for nothing but splitting the community - and that, I'm sure, is something no-one wants to see. I did mention the community self-policing itself as an option at UBI when I took this up, and while that is indeed a controversial idea in itself (good cops vs. bad cops + who polices the police, etc.) it is at least something. So couldn't you guys f.ex. tip us onliners off if you see something suspicious going on or something, so that we at least _knew_ what to look out for?

Or something. Dunno. Shit, the nippy heid needs a cup of latte now. S! all.

PS. Zo: Rest assured that I'm NOT here to stir the pot just for the hell of it Wink
