It might be simple, but it's still valuable I think.
For me, this forum is about:
1) Making IL2 more historically accurate wherever possible
2) Providing new content that will never be released by 1C (I turn a blind eye to deficiencies here in the expectation that techniques will become more refined).
This mod passes the test as far as I'm concerned.
Personally, I don't understand why a mod being quick and easy should be used as a criteria to reject it. Most people haven't a clue how to do what this mod does, but it corrects one aspect of the game.
Another poster suggested sorting the mods out eventually into broad categories like planes, maps, GUI, effects etc. and then subdivisions if necessary. A new page with connecting links might be a good idea if the numbers of mods continues to mushroom. :wink:
