I am curious if you can make them mated, and have the player be both but switch? I mean make the Ohka another position of the betty. Then he could put the betty on auto pilot, switch positions and fly the Ohka to the target. Is this possible?

That would amount to hot-keying between the cockpits of different flyables (- and before the purists howl, Oleg has indicated that this will be in SOW BoB as an option).

In other words, I'd wager that if you could do this for the Ohka and Betty, you could probably do it for any number of planes. :wink:

Interesting thought. This feature is already available in Lomac and goes a long way to make up for ai behaviour in single player. Oleg & Co. made Lomac too, and there are many other features that in it that would also be great in IL2. Reload & rearm for example
