I'm inclined to agree with Magpie, adding things or changing things in the planes that are flyable by default is a dangerous road. Adding Mirrors to planes seemed harmless at first, but it's a slippery slope to potentially more dangerous modifications.

I think it would be in the best interest of all parties to wait a spell before changing minor things like adding mirrors and gunsights to default planes. It's definitely something that should be done at some point, but right now it would give the Antimod crowd a whole lot of fuel.
