Yep, the yellow is too much a "computer-yellow".

Just take a look at the Colour swatches in the menu on the left.
If I'm making ahistorical skins, I just use the colors which pleases the most, no matter who used it historically or whatever. The point is, they usually just look plain awesome on planes and give a more "real" look right before you edited anything around it.
But despite of that, your skin looks really sweet, nice rivet lines.
And try to use a bit of AA, won't you? Or at least smooth your screenshots a bit, the steps ruin quite lot of the effect....
