I agree with the sentiments expressed about not spending time building (or trying to build) a "long" carrier, but only because I feel that any single engine fighter in the game can be landed aboard any of the carriers, except the CVEs, right now. I have even managed to consistantly get aboard an Essex class ship in a P-80. I also believe that it would probably be more difficult to actually do this than putting a tailhook on any existing plane in the game.

I would rather go back to 4.05 to fly planes that were modified with a tailhook (FM) than deal with some fantasy behemoth CV built to accommodate a hookless plane in 4.08. But that's just my humble opinion. :wink:
