Its an engine limitation. If I try to bring the trees any closer they completely cover the road, so they'd be impossible to see from the air. Other similar clearing of roads can be seen on New Guinea, and some of the heavily forested areas on the Finland map.

Badger, in time I will release it as a beta. For now I've only distributed it amongst my squadmates for testing, just to see if there are issues with either installation or online compatibility.
