Now that I understand better how the mission types work, I've been 'backfilling' on FC's original missions. Basically, anywhere he gave us just BlueNone00 and RedNone00 missions I've copied those to my desktop and systematically renamed those copiess to also be BlueAirbase00, BlueArmor00, BlueBridge00, BlueStrike00, BlueScramble00, RedAirbase00, etc. and adding them to the files/Quick/Missions folder and to the fileslist.txt.
Right now there isn't much of a reason for doing this except to get rid of the empty options in the QMB missions list--the missions don't automatically become a convoy attack or bridge busting sortie just by changing the name of the .mis file.
After I'm done with this I can later edit the 'new' missions to be something more appropriate in FMB at my leisure. I may also experiment with generating similar missions in UQMG and renaming those .mis files to fit existing QMB mission types.
