@Trooper : good point. But, trees aren't white. And there are a high number of conifers in that region. Janes did their research and got it right - there used to be some aerial photos around comparing Janes to reality, and it came very close, even at the height of winter. That is the point of this mod

Not trying to be critical mate, I love the new map you are doing, it looks great.. I'm really fed up with alot of the stock IL2 winter maps that make all the rivers solid ice, with very little contrast..
I know winter has several 'looks', depending on what the depth of the weather is at the time, so I guess you won't please everyone.. But you are doing a fine effort so far!..
