Another thing: I flew around Guadalcanal in FSX with FSGS2008 srtm based elevation data installed and I dont like what I've made elevation wise for my Guadalcanal. Even Oleg's Guadalcanal is way off in terms of elevation, but Mount Austen is there
In FSX, Guadalcanal's south coast is very lumpy and has many rolling hills. I wonder if I couldnt be able to extract the data in FSX and slap it into this map.
Either that or I'll rework the elevation from Microdem per Clockwatcher's tutorial.
