I don't have the book for those aircraft, but I can say that in the "Maintenance Interchangeability Cross Reference Charts", the instruments could be switched between aircraft. This especially counts for the altimeter, gyro, turn/bank indicator, compas. Tachometer were dependant on engine, airspeed was dependant on engine(s) and plane, etc.

See an excerpt of altimeters used between aircraft like B-17s, A-20s, P-38s and P-39s on Page 57:

As you can see it's from '43, so it's not got all the details one from '44 or '45 would have.
