Help-No new objects in FMB with 409

if we install a mod into the MODS folder............and we invent our own name for it to describe the mod inside...(for example.....fly_zo_baltic_map)......... then if we want to prevent it working....adding x or - or anything in front of the foldername isn't going to work is it?

we have to actually disrupt the correct file tree...by adding such characters in front of the file within that folder....such as the '3do'....being changed to 'x3do'....so that the game engine cannot read it

.......am I right or not???
