I was thinking more along the lines of the Mods that appear to have a) the most feedback and b) the most downloads.
If these could be put into an installer pack, it would save questions like, where do they go, where does the wrapper file go, where do I enter the text, etc, etc.
Give the community an easy way in to the modding delights, and then the less downloaded ones are ready for newer users to start taking an interest in.
Although I understand about one persons preference, I think it is fair to say there are some obvious candidates like;
Sound Mod, New wrapper.exe, Bomber Pack, 6-DoF, Skin Mod, Community Map pack, VPMedia texture pack.
I'm thinkinga long the lines of the AAA Modpack:

but with a whole host of other add-ons included?
