A new Pacific_islands_ffb map....and a Single mission to use there

install to your il-2 Sturmovik folder....

open your maps folder and add to the maps/all.ini.....this line...

*this version has a 'virgin' airfield on the North Island (usually used by Blue).....there are invisible ground plates on the airstrip...which has white cloth markers.....and that is all....so the taxiing will be a little bumpy...just be careful....there are limited taxi and parking waypoints set-up for the AI...the mission builder may like to use airfield campfires to make the strip more visible

the southern island airstrip has a different layout to the default map...and both runways will operate together...but planes will only take-off and land to and from the North.....there was an annoying hill which bombers would insist upon colliding with.....when sent around the landing pattern......I have lowered this considerably to help get a few more back on the ground

*I changed the mission from a co-op to a single (install to missions/single/US/B-25)...because there are three extra airstrip icons on the southern island....which will start you off the strip and you can taxi to the runway.......you can load into FMB and move the B25 t/o icon to the strip and move the single P40 to an off runway icon to fly that if you like
