Your response is interesting. I read the posting and it is about 2 leds. I cannot invision 6DOF without at least 3 points of light spread equally with each light at different distance from receiving device.

There is a thing on the freetrack site that is a video of building a 3 point LED device from a bicycle light, Cateye.

Also, there is a comment about Nintendo support planned for freetrack.

Regardless, I have a camera and everything to build the freetrack device now. I've just got to find time to do it. LOL
