As we know...the majority of the data in the actors static files is written in Martian 
hock:
most actors static files are far less than 100kb...and even my own Hawaii_ffb with many objects around Pearl harbor is only 260kb
Crimea is 1.4mb :? no wonder it crashes when trying to load into the FMB
Not being able to read Martian...I casually deleted a big chunk of it...from about half way down the file....but not right to the end
and was left with a file sized 922kb...... and it loaded into FMB
all houses were gone...and bridges...and airfields....but the rest looked OK....at a quick glance 8)
tryed it again and got a file of 459kb....didn't look any different from the first...except the sea colour had a band on the horizon....hock: :?
which other maps will not load into tools FMB???
are there any programs which will read Martian...??
