What version of windows do you have?

EDIT: found this on Microdem's webpage:

Place this executable in the MICRODEM directory (c:\program files\petmar_trilobites\microdemXXX); if it does not function correctly or complains about missing DLL files, DBF files, or other anomalies, you must do a complete install because yours is not recent enough.

You have to get the complete installation.
