I hope this is included in SoW:BoB. I know oleg will be incliding customer ammo belting but don't know if it will allow for changing it at the end.

First thing I'd do is thin out the tracers very much so i have them only on one gun and only one in ten rounds or so or delete them outright. I believe it aids very much in deflection shooting when you got to know where and how to aim, instead of correcting for tracer paths.
No tracers would also aid online, the chance of detection just by shooting at another plane or ground targets would be zero and the victim would also notice only you most times when it is too late.

Then come the people of course that claim that this would be a cheat and the historical airforces wouldn't do/ allow such things. Best implementation would be with ranks, the higher the rank, the more rights you get to customize your stuff.
