HI m8,
just trying to help ok, i'm at work pc & haven't got access to il2 right now but try the following:
the game has different views, go int menu & bind a key for 'GUNSIGHT VIEW', this view brings your eysight in line with the sights, i think this is your problem, if not try the other view options.
