Several Questions

Many Squadrons were added in HSFX. It just so happens that they left number 250 squadron of the RAF out.

I believe the forgotten countries mod was included in HSFX, because I have all of the new countries including the countries like Switzerland, Denmark etc. that were not included prior to HSFX.

So squadrons and countries were added, but I don't know where to find them so I can look at them using the sfs extractor tool.
It would help to know precisely which SFS files they are in, but the tool will only work (even then)
if it knows (is programmed) with the names of files to be extracted in first place. un-preprogrammed files won't be found. One of them is called:
regiments.ini and others are:
country.properties
country_ru.properties
regInfo.properties
regInfo_ru.properties
regShort.properties
regShort_ru.properties

Finding any of the above in any the SFS files would help you define which files are concerned. Then looking for an existing squadron in there with such format as:
249Squadron.mat
249Squadron.tga
249Squadron

Don't know about HSFX, but with UP2, mods don't go on line, unless everyone else has them too.
So I don't see the point of adding something like 250Squadron if you do
not intend to share it entirely with the rest of the on-line community.

Besides you missed my point. The suggested mod, design for offline use
only, replaces and takes precedence over files in SFS. It is neither UP or HSFX, although about 80% included within these. Studying it
would be easier then studying SFS files directly. The info given here comes from that mod. Even if you find what you want, modifying and adding is still creating a mod.

By the way I have created hundreds of new squadrons as MODs:
