Hmm, it happens even before it fully loads. I click the desktop shortcut, it comes up, then that happens. Notice, that it says "anticheat test" at the top? I'm thinking it could be AAA mod related, as its talking about a bad file name. Hmm... Is there a way to change it so its set to open with my original IL2 without HL being open? (As in, in the program files)

Thats right you have to edit the file "hlpro.ini" in notepad

fixed my problem

maybe you need to set "Disable=1" under another category so that you can manually connect and do the "Ctrl/Shift" connect thing to re-set your game path etc.

Dont let the "Anticheat Test" message panic you. I got that without mods. basicly , you need to stop HL auto connecting and enter the right path for Il2.

also try and make a copy of IL2FB.exe and name it Il2.exe. also check that you're pointed at "Ubisoft" and not "Ubi Soft" folder (if you have intaller to default path).
