I figured as much, I was sorta using it as a segue to a statement about trying to be, diplomatic with criticism.
Clearly doing a really good job is a LOT of work. More urban areas would be easier in some way---meaning that achieving a attractive visual effect is easier to figure out vs naught to work with but the limited landscape engine---but much harder in sheer scut work (imagine decorating X gajillion square kms with streets, buildings, parked cars, telephone poles (once you start, it's hard to stop ).
Maps like this one, and Slovakia, etc, really are an object lesson in the idea that the community needs the tools. Given the tools, the community will build it.
