You need to move around a bit to see it... just like in real life... not everything in real world is set in to a panoramic view for our eyes. I personaly like this as it ads a bit of "life-like" to the cockpit. And when I'm fireing my canon I'm counting the shots in my head .

Zaelu, it became so natural for you to have a look where ever you want that you forgoted that not everybody is able to do it... :wink:
