That is good card, but I doubt that you can do something with it with Rivatuner, it is application mostly for overclocking and deblocking shader pipelines, processor etc . . ., and with majority of 8600 gts’s it can’t be done.
50C in idle mode is normal temperature for most graphic cards so Ntune probably eats one “0” when reports about fan speed.

You can try these drivers, I used some of them and while they are very good for performances in games most of them is also very stable, but most stable is of course plane nvidia’s driver.
I would go too for a WinXP, it would be a surprise for Microsoft to release fully functioning product (maybe after some 3 vista updates . . . . :roll: :mrgreen: )
