I very much hate to put a damper on work already done, but couldn't we just lengthen the engine nacelles forward as suggested and leave the fuselage length as per the Ca-210 as was historical?
All it needs is a FM, a few weapons options and off we go!

I mean maybe it's a turnaround for the modders, a bit of wasted work and a different direction, but surely it's worth it for a top notch end result?
