It sounds like a severe CPU limitation, but that doesn't make sense because the 3700 is not that bad of a CPU. I used to use that exact one (Windsor core, 2.2ghz, right?). Something seems off.

Any ideas?

Would some bios info help?

I'm using an ASROCK 949-Sata2 mobo with PCI-E Video card.
